Johnny Blaze (Nicholas Cage), a motorcycle stuntman acrobatics, making appointments and selling his soul to the prince of evil Mephistopheles (Peter Fonda) to save his father.

But Mephistopheles deny Blaze, who was forced to leave his girlfriend Roxanne Simpson (Eva Mendes), to protect it. When the agreement was satisfactory, and the lover fails to be saved, Blaze transformed into Ghost Rider, with a skull that lights and riding motorcycles were the fires of hell, Blaze becomes a hitman who works for the devil.

Followed his heart and break away from the shackles of darkness, Mephistopheles Blaze helps fight against Blackheart (Wes Bentley), Mephistopheles's son who wants to get rid of his father and rule the world with the help of The Hidden, the three angels of darkness who has a mission and ambitions in line with Blackheart.
